Local Authorities WEEE Collection Centres for Retailers
Each of the Local Authorities in the Dublin Region will be providing collection centres for the acceptance of WEEE from retailers. Details are as follows:
Dublin City Council WEEE Collection Centre for Retailers

Registered retailers can bring the WEEE that they have taken back to a new Collection Centre located at Kylemore Park West, Ballyfermot.

The opening hours for the new facility will be Mon – Fri 9am-5pm & Saturday 9am-1pm

Prior to bringing any material to the Collection Centre, retailers must contact the facility in advance to arrange for delivery of any WEEE to the site.  At the centre retailers will be asked to co-operate with staff and segregate their waste on-site.  Please note that the phone number for this facility has recently changed. The new contact number for the facility is (01) 6202249

Fingal Co. Co. WEEE Collection Centres for Retailers

Registered retailers can bring take back WEEE to Coolmine Recycling Centre from 13th August 2005. The opening hours and contact details for each facility are as follows:

Prior to bringing any material to the Collection Centre, retailers must contact the facility in advance to arrange for delivery of any WEEE to the site.  At the centres retailers will be asked to co-operate with staff and segregate their waste on-site.  All WEEE brought in must be free from packaging, food or other waste. No contaminated WEEE will be accepted. In the interests of health and safety only intact WEEE will be handled on site.

South Dublin WEEE Collection Centres for Retailers

From the 1st of December 2010 all WEEE from registered retailers should be brought to:

Clondalkin Community Recycling Initiative (CCRI)
Unit 14/2 Crag Terrace
Clondalkin Industrial Estate,
Clondalkin,
Dublin 22.

Opening times:
Mon to Thurs: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Friday: 8.30am - 3.30pm

Please note the disposal centre in Cookstown Industrial Estate for WEEE from registered retailers will closed November 30th 2010.

Dun Laoghaire WEEE Collection Centres for Retailers

Registered retailers can bring the WEEE that they have taken back to a new Collection Centre located at Ballyogan Recycling Park, Ballyogan Rd, Carrickmines, Dublin 18.  This collection centre will only facilitate retailers on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2.30pm-4.30pm.

Prior to bringing any material to the Collection Centre, retailers must contact the facility in advance to arrange for delivery of any WEEE to the site.  This can be done by contacting the facility at 01 291 3650. Please note at only 2 retailers can be accommodated per day that the collection centre is operational (i.e. 2 on Tuesday and 2 on Thursday). At the centre retailers will be asked to co-operate with staff and segregate their waste on-site.
