| South Dublin County Council Waste Charges Card |

South Dublin County Council have introduced a waste charges card aimed at making the system more efficient and stolen bin tags a thing of the past!
The main change is that customers will not have to purchase a bin tag anymore – instead bin lift credit will be purchased in advance and this will allow the refuse truck to lift the bin.
There will be a new computer system on the Refuse Trucks that can identify and record the bin and deduct the cost of the lift from the customer’s Waste Charges Account.
Under the new system a Waste Charges Card will be issued to every customer with which bin lift credit can be purchas
ed in advance of having the bin collected.
For any queries about the new system please use the South Dublin County Council's webform or alternatively contact South Dublin County Council at (01) 414 9000
To help you in the change over the South Dublin Waste Collection Team have put together a list of Frequently Asked Questions
